Parkside Express Wash’s opening makes the second car wash that G&H has completed this year in the Roanoke Valley. The 3,230sf newly constructed car wash opened at the beginning of December. This project features a water reclamation system that allows Parkside Express to recycle 80% of its daily water consumption.
Grading, erosion control and new entrance roads are underway on the 93 plus acre site in Collinsville, Virginia.

G & H is excited to sponsor the Salem Marathon Kids FUN Run race this Saturday, October 15th. What a great community event that encourages kids to exercise while having FUN. The race begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Salem. Come out and support all the kids running.
G & H Contracting had a BLAST in the annual, community-wide “Touch a Truck” event at Green Hill Park in Roanoke County. Kids of all ages were excited to expore, sit and “drive” the G & H dump truck and mini excavator.
G & H Contracting will soon be breaking ground for a new housing project in Wytheville, VA. Freedom Lane Housing will provide new homes for many of the veterans in the Wytheville area.
Our hometown station, WDBJ7, took a look at the restoration work nearing completion at Roanoke’s landmark Virginian Railway Station. After a fire that destroyed most of the historical building, G & H Contracting, Inc. is nearing completion of the renovations that is bringing life back to the Virginian.
